What is the fee?
A £20 collection fee applies where a customer wishes to cancel due to a change of mind after the tyres have already been allocated, dispatched and delivered to the fitting centre.
Why is it charged?
Once the tyres have been delivered, they need to be collected from the fitting centre and transported back to our supplier's warehouse. The £20 fee contributes towards the transportation and handling costs involved in returning the goods.
How is the fee paid?
The customer does not need to make a separate payment. The £20 fee is deducted from the value of their order, and the remaining balance is refunded to their original payment method.
When explaining this to a customer:
Keep the explanation clear and factual. The fee applies because the goods have already been dispatched and delivered and now require collection and return.
